Cancellation and Weather Policy
High-altitude travel needs a written plan for change. This page explains the questions a final booking document must answer.

No invented fixed percentages
Cancellation percentages, deposits, refunds, and amendment fees depend on the service providers and the booking terms in force when a trip is confirmed. This public page does not publish a made-up refund table. Request the dated terms attached to your quote.
Lukla flight disruption
A weather cancellation may lead to rebooking, an additional night, a different airport transfer, a helicopter option, a delayed itinerary, or a decision to turn back. Ask which costs are refundable, which are payable locally, and whether the operator will help claim against travel insurance.
Safety-led changes
A guide or operator may recommend stopping ascent, changing a pass crossing, descending, or ending a trek when weather, illness, trail conditions, or other risks make the original plan unsafe. The final booking conditions should explain how the commercial consequences are handled.
