Our Values
Safety
A good trek is measured by how safely you come back down, not just the summit photo. Every itinerary is built around that first.
Altitude protocol
The published EBC itinerary includes acclimatization days at Namche and Dingboche. Other routes need their own reviewed overnight plan. Ask for the assigned guide’s current training, monitoring equipment and emergency protocol before departure. Fitness does not remove altitude-illness risk.
Emergency planning
Before booking, verify the assigned guide’s first-aid training, communication equipment, emergency contacts and evacuation arrangements. Availability of rescue transport depends on conditions and cannot be guaranteed. Trekkers are required to carry travel insurance that covers high-altitude trekking and emergency evacuation — we can advise on providers but this is arranged by the trekker, not included in trip pricing.
