Our Values
Local Expertise
Our guides are native to the districts the treks pass through — this isn't a general qualification, it's specific, local knowledge applied to the exact trail you're walking.
What local knowledge actually changes
A guide who grew up in the Khumbu reads weather patterns specific to these valleys, knows which teahouse in a given village is having a good season and which isn't, and has relationships with lodge owners and porters built over years, not a briefing document read before the trip. That shows up in small decisions throughout a trek — which day to push on and which to wait out, not just the big ones.
Credentials, not just experience
Request current guide, first-aid and insurance credentials before departure; local knowledge is valuable, but it should not substitute for documented qualifications.
