What's upgraded
Teahouse trekking in the Khumbu doesn't offer hotel-grade lodging at any price — but within what's available, the Comfort Expedition books the better rooms, better-heated dining rooms, and (where villages have more than one option) the more comfortable lodge rather than the default. Group size is capped lower than our standard trips as well.
What doesn't change
The route, the guide-to-trekker ratio for safety, and the acclimatization schedule stay exactly the same as our standard itinerary — comfort upgrades don't come at the expense of the pacing that actually keeps a group safe at altitude.
